Last year Amanda and I went to see Weird Al at Common Ground (Flickr Set) and because of that we wanted to go back again this year. In the beginning we didn’t know who we wanted to see ( for some reason they slowly trickle out who is playing ) but Amanda’s Mom wanted to go see Sammy Hagar so that is who we went to see.

Overall, the concert was nice. Last year we just showed up with our folding lawn chairs and hoped for a good spot. This year we purchased tickets in advance and upgraded to the sectioned off area where there were folding chairs set up for us. Unfortunately, there was a small problem ordering the tickets and instead of getting the good seats for Sammy Hagar we had good seats for Zappa Plays Zappa. Needless to say we just sat down on the ground and watched the show.

The show itself was really entertaining and I felt the urge to purchase some Sammy Hagar songs. Actually, I still need to do that…

Amanda want to get fries but she came back with this. It’s called a dog pile (served in paper doggie bowl) and is just fries with nacho cheese and bacon bits on it. It was really tasty.
